Enterprise-grade cloud powering every transaction
Deployment & Infrastructure
Our entire infrastructure runs on Google Cloud Platform. Every API call, every payment webhook, every real-time notification is served from GCP's global edge network — giving us the reliability and low latency that financial infrastructure demands.
How we use it:
Google Cloud is the backbone of our operations. We use Cloud Run for serverless microservices, Cloud SQL for transactional databases, Pub/Sub for event-driven architecture, and Firebase for authentication and real-time features. This lets us serve 6 CEMAC countries from a single deployment with 99.9% uptime.
Key integrations:
- Cloud Run — serverless microservices for payment APIs
- Cloud SQL — managed PostgreSQL for transactional data
- Pub/Sub — event-driven payment notifications
- Firebase Auth — secure user authentication
- Cloud Armor — DDoS protection and WAF
- Secret Manager — secure credential storage
Stripe
Connecting CEMAC merchants to the global card network
International Card Processing
Stripe powers our international card acceptance and cross-border payment flows. When a merchant in Cameroon needs to accept Visa, Mastercard, or AMEX from a customer in Europe or North America, Stripe handles the card processing, fraud detection, and settlement.
How we use it:
Stripe Connect enables our marketplace payment flows, where funds can be split between merchants, delivery riders, and the platform. Stripe's currency conversion handles the USD/EUR → XAF conversion that is critical for cross-border commerce. Their Radar ML model provides an additional layer of fraud prevention on every card transaction.
Key integrations:
- Stripe Connect — marketplace payment splitting
- Card processing — Visa, Mastercard, AMEX acceptance
- Currency conversion — USD/EUR to XAF settlement
- Stripe Radar — ML-powered fraud prevention
- Webhooks — real-time payment status updates
- Payouts — international disbursements
Flutterwave
The gateway to Mobile Money across Africa
Mobile Money & Local Payments
Flutterwave is our primary gateway for Mobile Money payments across CEMAC. When a customer pays with MTN Mobile Money, Orange Money, or any local wallet, Flutterwave processes the transaction and routes the funds to the merchant's Pursar wallet.
How we use it:
Flutterwave gives us direct access to MTN MoMo and Orange Money APIs across Cameroon, Gabon, Congo, and the rest of CEMAC. Their infrastructure handles the USSD push prompts, payment confirmation callbacks, and reconciliation — so we can focus on building the product layer on top. They also power our recurring Mobile Money subscription billing.
Key integrations:
- MTN Mobile Money — USSD push and pull payments
- Orange Money — direct wallet-to-wallet transfers
- Recurring billing — Mobile Money subscription engine
- Bank transfers — local bank account collections
- Multi-currency — XAF, XOF, NGN settlement
- API-first — RESTful integration with webhooks
PayPal
Bridging African freelancers to the global gig economy
Global Payouts & Freelancer Receiving
PayPal enables our Global Receiving feature — allowing African freelancers and remote workers to receive payments from international platforms like Upwork, Fiverr, and direct clients. Funds arrive in their PayPal account and can be converted to XAF through Pursar.
How we use it:
PayPal is the most widely accepted payment method globally. By integrating PayPal as a receiving rail, we give freelancers in CEMAC a way to collect international earnings without needing a traditional bank account in the US or Europe. Combined with our virtual card and wallet features, freelancers get a complete financial toolkit.
Key integrations:
- PayPal Payouts — mass disbursements to freelancers
- Payment receiving — accept payments from global clients
- Currency conversion — USD/EUR to local currency
- Buyer/seller protection — dispute resolution
- Invoice payments — professional billing for freelancers
- Checkout integration — PayPal as a payment option
